Unlock cell phones (All in One) Software

GSM phones are designed to be used with any network. However, some service providers electronically lock their phones when giving out special offers, gifts or discounted prices so that one has to stick to the particular provider. This can be to your disadvantage since you may have to pay very high roaming charges when you take your phone out of their network and use it elsewhere in the world. Fortunately, sim locked phones can be reversed. The copyright office gave the greenlight to unlocking GSM phones recently so it is now very possible to unlock your own phone. You can now easily and quickly unlock your phone so you can use it with any GSM service provider and SIM, anywhere in the world.

Techniques for unlocking a phone vary between phone models and phone carriers.

Malware Protection - Protect your Phone from Deadly Viruses Part 02

Viruses are the big problem. The virus can enter into the Mobile Phones easily through any means, through Internet, Bluetooth, etc. How to over-come this mess.

Common viruses like Cabir Infects mobile phones running on Symbian OS (Nokia N series which runs on Symbian). When your phone is affected by this virus you will see the message 'Caribe' is displayed on the phone's display and is displayed every time the phone is turned on. The worm then attempts to spread to other phones in the area using wireless Bluetooth signals.

The Duts is another parasitic file infector virus and is the first known virus for the PocketPC platform. It attempts to infect all EXE files.

There are also other viruses that destroys SMSes and MMSes. The Skulls virus is a trojan type, when infected the desktop of your phone gets replaced by images of a skull. The Commwarrior also comes under this category. They can also spread through Bluetooth as well. It infects devices running under OS Symbian Series 60. It spreads through other Mobiles through Bluetooth devices and sends the infected files under a random name to various devices.

Download Free iSMS - Send Free SMS From Any Nokia Symbian Mobile Phone:

Brief about this Application:

Iphone has become so popular that iphone applications have become benchmark for comparing to any other application being released. So it doesn’t really matter is the application is being developed for symbian or any other platform, every possible effort is being made to give it the look and functionaluity of an iphone application. One such application being developed for symbian platform, called iSMS is also being developed on similar lines[...]

Just like in iphone you get to see incoming and outgoing messages as a conversation, the same goes with this application also. Free-iSMS displays your messages in threads but that’s not it. There are many other features to couple to this feature. With this application installed in your symbian phone you can also schedule your messages, this means that you can time stamp your messages and the message will be dispatched at that particular time which you have already set. That can be quite a useful feature if you tend to forget things.

Another utility of this application is that you can also send fake messages to yourself. However I don’t see the exact utility of this feature, as to why you would like to see the message sent by you to yourself. Moreover this feature is also very buggy as you can only make fake incoming messages with the date set to 2009 or later. That’s some really useless utility. Another bug that can be spotted easily is that the incoming and outgoing messages are displayed as threads but the messages in your custom folders can’t be displayed in such format.

So these are some issues that need to fixed as soon as possible along with some more advancements to be made in this application so that it can be used flawlessly.

This can save considerable amount of time.

The scope of the application is not only limited to typing messages but it will work in almost all the application in your mobile phone. May it be using dictionary or may it be using some notepad or even when looking for contacts from the list. This feature especially comes in handy when you are using your mobile phone browser to access the internet.

FREE SMS Spam Filter Application For Symbian Mobile - SMS Spam Manager for Nokia Symbian:

By the name itself you might have understood what this post is all about...?

Will you be happy if your email is filled with Spams?

Sometimes it happens that you may get completely frustrated by the untimely messages you receive. Or consider the situation when you are in office presentation and you get messages there...[...]

Forget all now!!
With SMS Spam Manager installed in your mobile phone you can effectively filter all your incoming SMS messages and keep a check on all the junk and unwanted messages. Sometimes SMS Spam Manager can also prove to be harmful as you may miss on an important message. Specifically for this purpose there are 6 filters included in the application. By selecting each you can selectively filter out the kind of messages you want to.

Here is information about all the modes under which you can configure your mobile phone so that you can customize the messages you want to block and those you don’t want to block.

• Accept all (inactive)
• Block all
• Accept phonebook only
• Block from black list rules

It’s quite easy to understand what these 4 filters will do when activated. If you use that fourth option you will see that there are further 3 optoins that you can configure under that option to provide a etter filter.

• Telephone number
• Prefix number
• Text match

Again I don’t think I need to tell about these sub filters as to what they do and how they function.

The technology has gone long... Think!. When you felt it is highly important to carry a Walkman along with you... to hear your Favourite music and even a Cool Camera to take Photographs. Now never the less almost everybody does have a Mobile Phone. Thanks to the Mobile, there is no need to carry all those stuff, everything is being zipped into a mobile phone that can do approximately the same job if not better.

A very important key term linked to Mobile Media Center is internet as this application also provides a communication channel with your pc over the air. This means that you can connect to your pc database over the internet from your mobile phone and can access the all the files.

As far as the utility of the application is concerned I don’t think that anybody without flat data rates will use it as it will prove to be very costly. So the use becomes quite limited unless you forgot a very important document in your pc but need it right now in your office for presentation. That’s the most likely case when you are going to use this application.

However when you request the data from your pc the data is automatically compressed and encrypted so as to minimize the cost and increase the data transfer rate but at times it can be very slow.
